We are dedicated to complete data minimization and strict confidentiality. 2. Data Collection and Local Processing Architecture

Privacy Proxy operates strictly under the following model:

• Local Storage (Session Mapping): To power the "One-Click Restore" feature, the mapping references between your original sensitive text and the masked tokens (e.g., [BUSINESS_1]) are stored temporarily in your local browser storage (chrome.storage.local).

3. How We Use Information

Any data accessed by the extension is utilized strictly and exclusively to perform the core, single-purpose functionality of Privacy Proxy: masking sensitive strings prior to submission and allowing local restoration inside your active interface window.

• We do not track user browsing behavior across unrelated websites.
• We do not build behavioral profiles or collect personal telemetry identifiers.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

• No Commercial Sharing: We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer raw user data or prompt contents to third parties, advertising agencies, data brokers, or information resellers.
• Interaction with Third-Party Platforms: Once your input text is masked locally (e.g., replacing a private variable with [BUSINESS_1]), the sanitized text is sent to OpenAI as part of your standard interaction with ChatGPT. OpenAI processes this data pursuant to its own respective terms and privacy policies.

5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Policy Compliance

Affirmative Statement: The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Single Purpose Adherence: Data collection and access are strictly restricted to what is necessary for providing and optimizing the disclosed prompt redaction functionality.
• Human Access Prohibition: No human being reads, reviews, or logs your unredacted text inputs or private prompt data.
• Prohibited Transfers: Data is never shared, transferred, or monetized for personalized advertisements, credit-worthiness evaluation, or lending eligibility determinations.

6. Required Permissions Disclosures

Privacy Proxy requests the absolute minimum browser permissions required to fulfill its single purpose:

• activeTab / Host Permissions (restricted to ChatGPT domains): Required to inject the lightweight prompt menu and inspect input elements locally.
• storage: Required to maintain the temporary local token-to-text mapping table for the restore feature.

7. Data Security and Retention

All local token mappings are stored securely using standard browser APIs and are automatically purged when you clear your browser cache or uninstall the extension.

Consequently, errors, omissions, incomplete redactions, false positives, or unexpected application behaviors may occur during text anonymization, tokenization, or restoration. The Developer assumes no liability whatsoever for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, loss of business data, lost profits, business interruption, or any other financial or non-financial loss) arising from non-deterministic behavior, algorithmic errors, or incomplete masking.

3. Guidelines and Non-Guaranteed Privacy Principles

Any privacy principles, security measures, or architectural descriptions (such as "Zero-Server Leakage") detailed in this document or in-product disclosures are for informational and guidance purposes only. The description of these principles does not constitute a guarantee that they will be successfully fulfilled, active, or flawless at every given moment. Software bugs, browser extension vulnerabilities, or unforeseen technical anomalies may occur, which could lead to data leakage or exposure.

4. Comprehensive Limitation of Liability
