This policy describes the processing of personal data when using teringette.hu and its sub-pages (blog, video library, Agri Dashboard, Tristar Apartment, survey).

The website files, server logs and the e-mails sent from the application form are processed on the hosting provider's servers.
03 Forms: application, booking, survey
When you submit a form, we only process the data you enter, solely to answer and handle your request.

- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given with the checkbox; you can withdraw it at any time.
- Retention: as long as necessary to answer and handle your request, or until you withdraw your consent.
- Abuse prevention: for the application form, a one-way hash of your IP address is stored for at most 1 hour to limit mass submissions (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
04 Google Analytics (only with consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for traffic statistics only if you accept it in the cookie banner. If you decline, the tracking code is not loaded at all.
- Data processed: a random pseudonymous identifier (in a cookie), device and browser data, approximate location, pages viewed and events, time and source of the visit.
- Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Transfers: data may be transferred to the United States; Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Retention: according to the Google Analytics data retention setting, at most 14 months.

06 Automatic language selection
If you open the home page without having chosen a language, the server uses your IP address to decide whether to show the Hungarian version (Hungarian IP address) or the English one. The check is done locally against a range list stored on our hosting: your IP address is not stored or shared with anyone for this purpose. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) – showing content in a language you understand. You can switch language at any time with the language switch; your choice is remembered in the lang cookie.
07 Server logs
For operation and security, the hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type). Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); retention follows the hosting provider's practice.
08 Third-party services
For some features your browser connects directly to third-party providers, which can therefore see your IP address:
- Open-Meteo (weather in the header and in the Agri Dashboard), open.er-api.com (exchange rates)
- OpenStreetMap and Nominatim (map and location search in the Agri Dashboard), unpkg.com and cdnjs.cloudflare.com (map and icon libraries)
- In the blog, cover images of external articles (atlatszo.hu, 24.hu) are loaded from those websites
09 Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection
- Withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing)
- Send your request to teringetteblog@gmail.com; we reply within one month at the latest.
- Complaints: Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., naih.hu; you may also go to court.

We update this policy when laws or our services change; the current version is always available on this page. Effective from 25 October 2026.
